6 times Love Island host stole the show – Raunchy red dress to 'killing fans' with sheer gown

Maya Jama is back on Love Island, making her debut on the All Stars spin-off in a stunning white dress. She often turns heads in the villa with her surprise entrances, from that infamous red dress to the ‘naked’ white number she wore on the first episode of 2024. It’s a shame she’s not a real bombshell.

Love Island: Maya Jama’s white dress

Maya Jama wore a ‘naked’ white dress in Cape Town, South Africa, for Love Island: All Stars episode 1. The Mixed Gals floral dress is called the Marcia Maxi Dress, costing $549.

Love Island fans were obsessed with the show’s launch number. One viewer said they were “drooling” over it while another penned: “Maya is clearly trying to kill us this season! What is this dress #LoveIsland.”

Maya’s red dress on Love Island promo

Maya didn’t have just one dress on the Love Island: All Stars launch, but two. She also wore a long sparkly red gown with a plunging neckline and high leg split for the ITV show’s promo.

Perfect for an awards night, the host is seen being fitted into a red couture gown dimly lit by spotlights to the tune of Frank Sinatra’s The Second Time Around. As the music plays, Maya says: “It’s happening.”

Embellished two-piece worth £1.3K

Maya wore an embellished two-piece on last season costing £1,350. It’s from the Clio Peppiatt capsule collection and was adored by the entire nation watching Love Island – including us!

She shared the much-loved outfit on her Instagram in a Love Island favourite moments post. Maya even had matching sparkly eyeshadow and glossy lips, paired with beachy mermaid waves, for the look.

Yellow barely-there look

Maya certainly caused a stir and a few head turns when she made a shock entrance into the villa in a barely-there yellow maxi dress. She donned a half-up half-down hair beachy waves do.

The look is custom Ella Mia, which comes in a variety of colours. It is called the Ladder Dress in Yellow Gradient, costing £225, and requires buyers to wait a minimum of two weeks for it to be made.

If you loved Maya Jama’s white dress on Love Island, you’ll love this see-through summer look that has all of us wishing we were on a beach somewhere sipping a cocktail…

Black cut-out long dress

Maya first wore the black cut-out dress for the winter series but decided to have another moment in the iconic look during the summer of 2023. It was the Nensi Dojaka Cutout Maxi Dress for a reduced £979.

The outfit is one of Maya’s more expensive outfits. “A round of applause for the dress” one fan wrote, while another said: “Fits been giving.” Stylist Rhea Francois deserves an award for the wardrobe choices!

Maya’s summer white dress

During the 2023 season, Maya wore a £400 George Troch Nude Stripe Dress. She’s not the only celebrity to wear one of the fashion designer’s pieces, as Emma Chamberlain and Miley Cyrus are on his client list.

The stripe dress is adjustable, too – what a bonus! Maya’s look was featured on George’s Instagram page, having killed the look with a red lip, gold jewellery and big, bouncy curls.
